The problem with Ryan Seacrest
Here’s what’s really scary. In the past few months, “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” has spread to approximately 140 markets, including most of the 50 largest cities in America. How did this happen? The show has no record of ratings success. The content is no different and no better than the average local radio morning show. Okay, Ryan gets more and better celebrity guests, but who cares. There’s absolutely nothing special about his interviews — no intimacy and no revelations.

um, yeah….obvious. ryan hit the radio jackpot gang. im cool with that because someone had to. but have him change his name and drop him into a market in middle america and see what happens!
We love to hate him…but secretly who wouldn’t want his success!
Seacrest is very talented but because he’s so close to some of the stars and needs to be on good terms with them I often find his celebrity interviews less than hard-hitting. But hell yeah I’d take his success!
ryan is successfull because of American Idol. Would he really be doing that if he was not on AI. But more power to him!
